Public Assistance Briefings Set For Local Officials
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. State disaster officials will hold applicant briefings to help representatives from state and local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations in six Minnesota counties apply for federal disaster assistance in the wake of the severe storms, tornadoes and flooding that occurred on June 17-26. FEMA Mitigation Community Outreach Event - Wadena County Fair BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Mitigation experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be on-hand at the Wadena County Fair to help individuals learn about techniques that can help minimize property damage in the event of severe weather.
